I didn’t grow up around film sets or production studios. I grew up in a small town in Iowa — where I learned how to work with what I had and figure things out as I went. My first setups were duct-taped together. I was recording voiceovers for local events, filming rodeos, editing at night, and saying yes to every opportunity I could — not because I knew what I was doing yet, but because I was determined to learn.
That early hustle took me to Full Sail University, where I studied Film Production and finally got the formal training to match the years of trial and error. Since then, I’ve worn just about every hat in production — from producing commercial shoots and running video for national brands, to building a YouTube channel that reached over 300,000 subscribers. I’ve worked solo, built teams, and found the people I trust to do this work alongside me. First Call Studio is the result of all of that — not just a company, but a continuation of everything that came before it.

From real estate and brand content to product videos, promos, and beyond — we approach each job with the same attention to detail, creative focus, and technical precision. We don’t follow a formula. We adapt to the story, the message, and the client — and we make sure it’s done right.
This studio is built on years of hands-on experience, formal training in film production, and a deep understanding of how to take a project from concept to final cut. We’ve worked across formats, industries, and timelines — often wearing every hat along the way. That’s where our edge comes from. We know how to make content that looks great, runs smoothly, and delivers real results. No gimmicks — just honest, high-quality work backed by skill, consistency, and a commitment to getting it done right.

I studied Film Production at Full Sail University and have spent the last decade turning that foundation into real-world results. I’ve directed commercial shoots, led creative for national campaigns, and built a YouTube audience of over 300,000 by producing content that performs. I’ve worked behind the camera, in the edit bay, and across every phase of production.
